How should we think about moral and ethical issues related to healthcare, scientific research, and emerging technology? The Master of Arts/Bioethics from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS) will provide you with the ethical and theological understanding you need to approach these questions with skill and care. MA in Educational Ministries

ABOUT

The Master of Arts in Educational Ministries (MA/EM) provides you with a rigorous theological background in Christian education ministry with intentional application to the ministry context. This program will further your understanding of educational theory and its application – helping people to grow in their Christian faith in the church, global education ministries, and other Christian contexts. This program will provide you a footing for leading educational ministries or anticipating a Doctor of Educational Ministry. A foundational curricular core in Bible, theology, and educational ministries provides a structure for integrative academic thinking. Course selections are developed in consultation with an educational faculty advisor in areas of your interest leading the program capstone. The capstone will demonstrate in-depth analysis and critique of educational practices for the local church or other educational settings such as camps, private schools or para-church organizations.

MA in Church History

12 Credit Hours

ABOUT

Pursuing a Master of Arts in Church History will provide a focused study of the history of the Christian church. You will engage with the history and doctrine of the early church, history of church revival, and gain a deeper insight into the history of the Free Church. Trinity offers some of the most renowned church historians to mentor and teach you how to integrate history and theology throughout your studies. If you are interested in academic teaching and writing in church history or theology, Trinity’s program is an excellent choice to prepare you for further graduate or doctoral work. Our alumni are regularly accepted into top-tier postgraduate programs. Adding an MA in Church History to an MDiv can also enrich your educational and ministry goals.

A DMin is the highest earned professional degree for ministry. Our graduates are skilled, passionate, nurturing, and biblically oriented pastors, chaplains, missionaries, ministry leaders, and program directors who serve around the world. A TEDS DMin will equip you to guide missional focus and change while meeting the challenges of a post-Christian context and culture.

COURSEWORK

Students must complete 30 semester hours of work as follows:
  • Phase 1: Missional Renewal, Research & Assessments (15 hours)
  • Phase 2: Ministry Focus & Missional Strategies (9 hours)
  • Phase 3: Major Project Completion & Oral Presentation (6 hours)
